  • Account & contact details — name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order & trade-in information — items purchased or sold, valuations, and related correspondence.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data — IP address, device/browser information, and approximate location, collected to operate and secure the site.

3. How and why we use it

We process your data to:

  • fulfil orders, trade-ins, payouts, shipping and returns;
  • provide customer support and account management;
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations;
  • prevent fraud and keep the platform secure.

Our legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in running the business safely.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with processors who help us operate, including:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • eBay — where you connect an eBay account or we source/list equipment;
  • Shipping & logistics providers — to deliver orders and trade-in items;
  • Analytics & infrastructure providers — to host, secure and improve the site.

We never sell your personal data.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements (for example, retaining transaction records for the period required by UK tax law), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
